<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a handrail device safely and comfortably usable, reducing the number of part items, and having a simple structure, by bringing down a handrail quickly at first and slowly at the end, when used by bringing down the handrail. <P>SOLUTION: In this handrail device, a base shaft part 3 for journaling a handrail bar 4 has a center block 21 connected to the handrail bar 4, and a housing 23 for storing this block, and is constituted so that the handrail bar 4 and the center block 21 are rotatably held in a predetermined range to the housing 23 fixed to a base 2. An energizing means having a torsion coil spring 45 engages with one end of the center block 21, and applies the rotation moment in the springing-up direction to the handrail bar 4 in the whole rotational range of the handrail bar 4. A braking means having a rotary damper 54 engages with the other end of the center block 21, and acts so as to reduce a speed of bringing-down of the handrail bar 4 in a using position vicinal range of the handrail bar 4. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
