PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a foldable electronic device having a reliable waterproof structure. SOLUTION: The foldable electronic device comprises a first casing having an input part and a second casing having a display part, both of which are connected to each other via a hinge mechanism in a foldable manner. It includes a first hinge cylinder formed integrally with the first casing, a second hinge cylinder formed integrally with the second casing, and a pipe inserted into one end of the first hinge cylinder and into one end of the second hinge cylinder for connecting the second casing to the first casing in a foldable manner. The foldable electronic device further includes a wiring material extending through the pipe for connecting a first electronic part mounted on the first casing and a second electronic part mounted on the second casing to each other, a first gasket provided between the pipe and the first hinge cylinder, a second gasket provided between the pipe and the second hinge cylinder, and a hinge cap for sealing the first hinge cylinder at the other end.
