PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vibration suppression device for a drive shaft which is arranged in a hollow hole of the hollow drive shaft, has no possibility of change of vibration suppressing characteristics, and is excellent in assemblability and productivity. SOLUTION: In the vibration suppression device 1 for the drive shaft, elastic wall sections 11 made of rubber elastic material are formed at both axial ends of an inner peripheral surface of an outer cylindrical metal body 10. One of the wall sections is provided with a through hole 11A communicating with the outside. A housing 1A is integrally formed with a rubber coating layer 14 arranged on the inner peripheral surface of the outer cylindrical metal body 10 between the elastic wall sections 11 and an outer elastic layer 13 arranged on an outer peripheral surface of the outer cylindrical metal body.
