PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely prevent the meandering and deviation of a transmission belt 3. SOLUTION: A pulley body 5 is supported rotatably around a pulley shaft C1 by a shaft member 31, and the pulley body 5 and the shaft member 31 are supported rockingly around a pivotal shaft C2 tilted at a tilting angleαto the front side of the transmission belt 3 in the travelling direction. When there is the deviation of the transmission belt 3, the pulley body 5 is inclined to produce an elevation difference at least in the direction of an axial load to generate the force of restoring the transmission belt 3 to the original. The tilting angle of the pivotal shaft C2 is made constant by using a forcing mechanism having a supporting shaft C3 decentering from the pulley shaft C1 for positioning both the pulley shaft C1 and the supporting shaft C3 on a line extending to the direction of the axial load L.
