PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pipe connecting device capable of stably maintaining a locking member on a core without using a wire and preventing reduction of strength of the locking member and core. SOLUTION: Upon tightening a lock nut 5 against a coupling body 2, a lock member 7 is pushed to an inner diameter side so that a tapered face 5c of the lock nut 5 firmly comes into contact with a cone face 7a of the lock member 7, and a pipe P is prevented from pulling-out from the coupling body 2 so that a claw 7b of the lock member 7 is engaged with an outer periphery of the pipe P. The lock member 7 is maintained on an opening 6c where one end of the core 6 is opened, and both sides of the lock member 7 are maintained on the opening 6c with an interference fit. Axial pulling-out of the lock member 7 is prevented so that a guide projection 7c of the lock member 7 is engaged with a guide groove 6d of the opening 6c, and pulling-out of the lock member 7 to an inner diameter side is restrained by a stopper 6e.
