BARREL SHAPE MULTISTAGE TURBINE PUMP

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve reliability of a barrel shape multistage turbine pump and reduce flow passage loss thereof while miniaturizing the same. SOLUTION: The barrel shape multistage turbine pump is provided with a centrifugal impeller, an inner casing and an outer casing. The inner casing includes a multistage diffuser 4 and a return flow passage and a reversing blade 22. Each diffuser 4 is provided with a diffuser side plate 41 forming a partition wall for the return flow passage and a plurality of diffuser blades 42 as one body. The diffuser side plate 41 is provided with a half open part passage 30 guiding flow to the return flow passage while turning the flow from roughly axial direction to a roughly centrifugal direction from a rear edge of one diffuser blade 42 to an outlet side in a part facing an expansion flow passage. A part facing the half open part passage 30 of each diffuser blade 42 has thickness gradually increasing in a radial direction and roughly same in an axial direction at each position in the radial direction and pressure surface side is smoothly expanded toward the radial direction and an axial direction downstream side.
