PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water storage tank capable of shortening a projecting length from a water tank body as a cylindrical body. SOLUTION: In the water storage tank, the transparent cylindrical body 19 having a water-passing port 19a capable of being opened and closed by a cock 20 in a bottom is fixed outside the side wall 13 of a water tank body 11, in which the inside is partitioned into chambers A and B by a partition wall 15, in the vertical direction, and an electrode holder 21, from which a pair of electrode rods 21a, 21b and 21c are hung down, is installed at the upper end of the cylindrical body 19. In the water storage tank, a pair of the electrode rods 21a, 21b and 21c are hung down in the cylindrical body 19, and the chambers A and B and the cylindrical body 19 are made to communicate by communicating pipes 22A and 22B while the water storage tank has a valve 24 capable of bringing one of the chambers A and B and the cylindrical body 19 to a communicated state and capable of bringing the other of the chambers A and B and the cylindrical body 19 to a non-communicating state. In such a water storage tank, the cylindrical body 19 is fitted to one side-wall panel 13a n the lateral direction constituting the side wall 13 of the water tank body 11 by the communicating pipes 22A and 22B.
