PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To complement printing easily at a low cost upon occurrence of a trouble in a line head. SOLUTION: In the inkjet printer 1, piezoelectric elements 60a-60c are provided in a line head 60 such that they can move the line head 60 two-dimensionally, e.g. circular movement or elliptical movement along the plane of a print sheet. Even if a trouble occurs in any one nozzle of the line head 60 and ink cannot be ejected, the piezoelectric elements 60a-60c move the line head 60 and complement printing by neighboring nozzles such that missing dots becomes inconspicuous.
