PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hybrid electric vehicle energy management device.
SOLUTION: A vehicle position sensor such as GPS, an inertia navigation system or a dead reckoning system determine position data of a vehicle traveling to a second destination from a known first destination. The position data is processed by a route computer device and the related vehicle operation pattern is stored in a storing device. The second estimated destination and an estimated operation pattern to the second estimated destination from a current position is estimated by using measured vehicle position with stored operation pattern information combined for use. Estimation of the destination and operation pattern is executed in response to likelihood based on previous vehicle behavior. The likelihood is determined based on time, day of the week, and date. A generator and an energy charging device of the hybrid electric vehicle is controlled in response to an estimated operation pattern and is controlled in response to information from an environment sensor depending on a case.
COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
