摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lithographic printing plate material which is superior in dot reproducibility, printing resistance, aptitude for supplied water quantity and tone reproducibility, and is suitable for a plate-making method using a laser for exposure; an aluminum support therefor; and a manufacturing method therefor. <P>SOLUTION: A method for manufacturing an aluminum support for a lithographic printing plate comprises performing surface treatment including at least electrochemical roughening treatment and anodic oxidation treatment, on one surface of an aluminum sheet, wherein the electrochemical roughening treatment is the treatment of electrolytically roughening the aluminum support in an electrolytic solution mainly containing hydrochloric acid by using an alternating current with a sinusoidal waveform, and has two steps of electrolytically roughening the aluminum support with alternating currents having different frequencies of sinusoidal waveforms, which comprise the first step of using the frequency of 5 to 40 Hz and the second step of using the frequency of 100 to 300 Hz. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
