PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable terminal device capable of outputting an unspecified ring tone. SOLUTION: When radio broadcasting is set to kind information of set data 24 (a step S202 : YES) and if a frequency of a signal of the radio broadcasting set as a ring tone is detected from frequency information of the set data 24 and the power of a signal at the frequency exceeds a prescribed value (a step S203 : YES), a ring tone setting part 40 makes a speaker 50 output the signal of the frequency (a step S204).
