PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a personal digital assistant device and a recording/reproducing device for improving user-friendliness, by reflecting a viewing situation performed using the personal digital assistant device on the recording/reproducing device. SOLUTION: The personal digital assistant device comprises a receiving unit 11 for receiving broadcast signals including a program information, a communication unit 12 for communicating with a recording/reproducing device which carries out recording or reproducing for the broadcast signals, a display unit 13 for displaying the program information and video image information included in the broadcast signal, a memory unit 15 for storing a viewing history of a video signal received and displayed, and a control unit 114 for controlling viewing of the device. Based on the viewing history stored in the memory unit, a direction signal is sent out to direct reproducing of information related to the the viewing history among information stored in the recording/reproducing device through the communication unit.
