PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To miniaturize an air conditioner, and to facilitate maintenance of a water heat exchanger. SOLUTION: In the air conditioner, a compression type water heat source heat pump 6 carrying out heat exchange between heat source water and air for air conditioning via a circulating refrigerant, and first and second blowers 7a and 7b taking in the air for air conditioning and supplying it to a space to be air conditioned are provided in a casing 4. It is composed by forming an air supply draft duct A in an upper side of the casing 4, and arranging the first blower 7a, an air heat exchanger 9 of the water heat source heat pump 6, and the second blower 7b in this order in a blowing direction in the air supply draft duct A. In a vacant part B below the air supply draft duct A of the casing 4, electrical devices 12a and 12b are respectively arranged below the first and second blowers 7a and 7b, and other components of the water heat source heat pump 6, and a water passing mechanism D capable of selectively passing the heat source water from a heat source water circuit 2 and a cleaning solution from a cleaning device 3 to the water heat exchanger 8 are arranged in a lower part neighborhood of the air heat exchanger 9.
