PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mounting structure for a baseboard which can be easily mounted, neither oscillates nor falls off carelessly after mounting, and can surely prevent a small article from dropping. SOLUTION: The mounting structure is for mounting the baseboard along in the longitudinal direction of a scaffold plate. The scaffold plate is composed by providing an engaging hole to the upper face and the side face near the corner part. The baseboard comprises an erecting plate and a mounting metal fitting, which is provided at a position below the erecting plate and composed by providing an engaging piece fittable to the engaging hole to the horizontal part and the vertical part respectively of a bending member composed of the horizontal part and the vertical part so as to coincide with the corner part of the scaffold plate. The engaging hole is formed into a long hole toward the longitudinal direction of the scaffold plate. At least one engaging piece of the baseboard is provided with a locking claw formed by bending its lower end by 90 degrees in the longitudinal direction. It is constituted so that the engaging piece can be prevented from coming off from the engaging hole by sliding it after inserting the engaging piece to the engaging hole.
