PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of producing an inexpensive high corrosion-resistant steel capable of additionally improving the corrosion resistance of a weather resistant steel and suppressing the occurrence of stream rust. SOLUTION: The production method comprises heating steel products which contain 0.01 to 0.20mass% C, 0.05 to 0.80mass% Si, 0.1 to 3.0mass% Mn, 0.005 to 0.1mass% P,≤0.01mass% S,≤0.08mass% Al, and 0.04 to 4.0mass% Ni, and is composed of the balance Fe and inevitable impurities, then rolling the steel products and thereafter subjecting the steel products to pickling to remove the surface scale of the steel products.
