BELT-LIKE METAL FOIL HAVING NON-RECTANGULAR SECTIONAL STRUCTURE AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide belt-like metal foil having a non-rectangular sectional structure to compensate a reaction rate which is uniform and constant speed in an electrochemical reaction that the belt-like metal foil grows in a transverse direction by changing the sectional shape of the belt-like metal foil and to provide a method for manufacturing the same. SOLUTION: An electrode section 19 is formed by exposing a metallic surface corresponding to the transverse size of the belt-like metal foil in the form of a continuous belt on the circumferential surface of a columnar metallic electrode member 13 composed of an easily peelable material and insulating and covering other portions. Conduction shields 14 and 15 are arranged by disposing gaps at both ends of the exposed electrode section 19 in the form of the continuous belt.
