PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a button fixed by inserting a core into a leg portion from the back side. SOLUTION: The button is so formed that an indented shaft portion for preventing the disengagement of a fastening member is inserted into the core fastened in a pipe-shaped leg portion of a button body portion from the back side to be fastened on a garment or the like. In the button, the edge of the opening at the end of the pipe-shaped leg portion is integrally connected with a caulking annular flange, the caulking annular flange is provided with a plurality of projections at predetermined intervals, and the projections are turned inclined inward to prevent the rotation of the button. Additionally, the caulking annular flange is provided with pawls between the rotation preventing projections, and the pawls are turned lateral inwardly to fasten the core.
