PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rehabilitation assisting utensil for performing an opening/closing exercise of the thighs by loading a specified resistance under a state wherein a user sits on a chair or lies on the back, opens the legs to the width of his/her shoulders, and the knees are bent at an approximately right angle. SOLUTION: A stretching section equipped with an annular section 1 on both ends, and a compressing section 2 are integrally formed, thus this rehabilitation assisting utensil is assembled. The annular section 1 is attached on a section closer to the knee of the thigh section, and the compressing section 2 is pinched by both knees. Under this state, the opening/closing exercise of the thigh sections is performed. Thus, the muscular reflective disorder resulting from a difference in tension in the right and the left in muscle groups which are approximately symmetrically arranged in the body is canceled, and the rehabilitation assisting utensil can contribute to the therapies of various kinds of locomotorium disorders.
