PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a chair for which a power unit can be operated accurately corresponding to the prescribed sitting state of a user. SOLUTION: In this chair 1, a sitting switch 64 is provided with an actuator 642 arranged at a prescribed position relative to a cushion body 303 corresponding to a sitting position so as to respond to the elastic deformation of the cushion body 303 corresponding to sitting or leaving to/from the prescribed sitting position by the user and a switch main body 641 for switching the ON/OFF of a power source part 62 corresponding to the operation of the actuator 642.
