PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information processor for minutely performing access control with respect to a storage device (without causing a period where the access control cannot be performed).

SOLUTION: A utility program 203 reads authentication information from a removable hard disk apparatus 128 without allowing an operation system 202 to recognize the connection of the apparatus 128 after the apparatus 128 is connected, prohibits access to the removable hard disk apparatus 128 after the reading, and reports the connection of the apparatus 128 to the operation system 202 after the access is prohibited.
