<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light source device capable of emitting light with sufficient front luminance. <P>SOLUTION: The light source device is equipped with a light source part 26 where a light source lamp 31 is arranged so that its light emitting part 31a may be positioned on the center line O of a reflector 27 having an open surface 28 on one end and provided with a lamp access hole 30 at the center part of the other end in the reflector 27. The reflection surface 29 of the reflector 27 is formed as the rotational surface of a curve having curvature to reflect light emitted from the center Pa of the light emitting part 31a of the light source lamp 31 to either side from the center line O of the reflector 27 along a plane including the center line O in a direction where the light is condensed on a position deviated to an opposite side to either side with respect to the center line O around the center line O. Then, an emitting direction correction means 38 refracting and emitting the light emitted from the light emitting part 31a of the light source lamp 31 and reflected by the reflection surface 29 of the reflector 27 and then emitted from the open surface 28 of the reflector 27 in a direction where the light is condensed on the center line O of the reflector 27 is arranged to be opposed to the open surface 28 of the reflector 27. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
