<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for depositing a catalyst on a hydrogen storage material to obtain a hydrogen storage material which has a fast hydrogen release rate and low starting temperature of hydrogen release. <P>SOLUTION: The method for depositing a catalyst on a hydrogen storage material aims to deposit two or more kinds of predetermined catalytic functional substances which promote hydrogen release reaction on a hydrogen storage material which releases hydrogen by reaction of a metal hydride and a metal amide. First, as a first step, one kind of catalytic functional substance and a predetermined inorganic substance having easy pulverizing property are added to either a metal hydride or a metal amide, pulverized and mixed. Then as a second step, the rest one of the metal hydride or the metal amide and another catalytic functional substance are added to the treated material obtained in the first step, pulverized and mixed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
