<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pigment-sensitizing type solar battery capable of favorably securing sealing performance at a battery seal part for a long period in the case that a plurality of opposed electrodes are juxtaposed with one another. <P>SOLUTION: This pigment-sensitizing type solar battery comprises an optical electrode 1 having a transparent conductive layer 15; a counter electrode 2 facing the optical electrode 1 with a specified interval from it, and having conductivity, an electrolyte layer 3 enclosed between the optical electrode 1 and the counter electrode 2, and a battery seal part 4 to achieve sealing to the electrolyte layer 3. The plurality of the counter electrodes 2, the electrolyte layers 3 and the conductive layers 15 are serially connected, respectively, and juxtaposed with one another and intermediate seal parts 5w to file and cover the intervals od the adjacent counter electrode 2 are provided. That is, for achieving a form to serially connect a plurality of cells, the intermediate seal parts 5w are provided so as to surely prevent moving of electrolytes between the adjacent cells if the cells are juxtaposed with one another on almost the same plane. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
