<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable receiving side to accumulate distribution data more efficiently while improving a compression rate of document data and reducing load of distribution system concerning distribution of document data. <P>SOLUTION: An interpretation part 201 interprets metadata of XML format generated by a metadata control part 102, and generates an analysis table so that it can be used in a difference calculation part 202 and a pattern detection part 204 thereafter. The pattern detection part 204 detects the same elements on XML syntax in metadata referring to the analysis table, and performs marking using the element which appears first as template. The difference calculation part 202 calculates the difference between detected template and each element which continues thereafter, and records attribute and value in each pattern.
