PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automatically display attribute information when it is needed.

SOLUTION: An attribute information display system 1 has a read means 20 for reading external code information; a storage means 33 for storing the attribute information correlated to the code information; a communication means 22 for transmitting the code information to the storage means 33; a read means 34 for reading the attribute information correlated to the read code information from the storage means 33; a display means 21 for displaying the read attribute information and passing through visible light; and a control means 35 for controlling whether or not the attribute information is displayed on the basis of the presence/absence of display instruction information.
