PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an organic light emitting element having a plurality of layers of luminous layers which is improved in reliability by reducing the decomposition of a composition material of the luminous layer. SOLUTION: The light emitting element having a structure of laminating a first light emitting mixture layer 4 composed of a hole transporting material, an electron transporting material, and a dopant for determining an emitting color; and a second light emitting mixture layer 5 composed of the hole transporting material, the electron transporting material, and the dopant for determining the emitting color, and a picture display device using the light emitting element is used.
