MANUFACTURING METHOD OF ORGANIC POLYSILANE, ORGANIC POLYSILANE MEMBRANE AND OPTICAL WAVEGUIDE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology capable of simply synthesizing a polymeric organic polysilane in a good yield without using a catalyst such as a halogenated copper. SOLUTION: This technology directs to a manufacturing method of an organic polysilane by a reaction of a dialkyl dihalosilane with an alkali metal. A dihalosilane is added in a solution at 30-70°C containing the alkali metal and tetrahydrofuran and reacted with them. Thereafter, the residual alkali metal in the reactive solution is deactivated and the organic polysilane is extracted with toluene. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
