<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a production control method and system capable of sharing and utilizing information among a plurality of departments engaged in product production and sales. <P>SOLUTION: The production control system to solve the above problem, comprising a server 40 equipped with DB 50 for storing information of every department acquired by a plurality of departments and a computer terminal provided for each department, in which the server 40 is connected with the computer terminals with an telecommunication line. The computer terminals is equipped with input/output means so that the information acquired by every department can be input to the DB 50 provided for the server 40 and the information stored in the DB 50 can be output. The server 40 has a characteristic comparing function for outputting comparison information about the characteristic of the product and that of the constituent members based on the information stored in the DB 50, and a retrieving function for retrieving the information of the products corresponding to the information input from the computer terminals. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
