<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To form a single-faced corrugated sheet 1 using paper or a nonwoven fabric containing ceramics fibers, glass fibers or a mixture of them as base material paper and to improve a subject that the support of a catalyst or adsorbent supported on a honeycomb element is inhibited by the adhesive 104 applied to the joined part of a plane sheet 2 and a corrugated sheet 3 to enhance the support ratio of an impregnation liquid. <P>SOLUTION: The single-faced corrugated sheet 1 for forming a honeycomb element. The ridge line part 105 of the flat sheet 2 and the corrugated sheet 3 constituting the single-faced corrugated sheet 1 is heated or heated and pressed to melt the binder component in base material paper to bond the flat sheet 2 and the corrugated sheet 3 and, by avoiding the use of an adhesive 104 for preventing the support of the catalyst or the adsorbent, a honeycomb element enhanced in the support ratio of the catalyst or the adsorbent is obtained. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
