PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a user to select a program by using a song title list information of music used for the program in an electronic program guide in which a comment information for a broadcast program is displayed on a screen as a guidance when the user selects a program. SOLUTION: An electronic program guide transmitting device (1) which outputs transmission code sequences (A), (B), (C) and (D) after adding a song title list information (D) on an electronic program guide information (A), (B), (C) is provided. An electronic program guide receiving device (11) which outputs a video signal to display a song title list after separating and decoding a song title list information part (D) from the transmission code sequences (A), (B), (C) and (D) is provided.
