PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a program video recording system in which a broadcast program under viewing and listening at a broadcast receiving terminal can be recorded in a program video recording device with simple operation and besides at short times to thereby improve user-friendliness. SOLUTION: Only channel number information of the program under viewing and listening is transmitted from a portable image receiver 10A to a TV receiver 20A via a network NW. When receiving the channel number information, program information corresponding to the channel number information is obtained from a program providing server PSV upon the network NW by means of the TV receiver 20A.
