摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To early enable a two-way simultaneous call by shortening a converging time of an echo canceller even when a loudspeaker call device is installed in a high resounding space such as a bathroom. SOLUTION: A first echo canceller 30A comprises an adaptive filter 31A and a subtractor 32A, adaptively identifies an impulse response of an acoustic echo path H<SB>AC</SB>by using the adaptive filter 31A and uses the subtractor 32A to subtract a pseudo echo component (acoustic echo) estimated from a received signal from an output signal of a microphone amplifier G1, thereby suppressing the acoustic echo. Since the adaptive filter 31A uses the algorithm of an ES mapping method to adaptively identify filter coefficients, the converging time of the filter coefficients in the high resounding space such as a bathroom can be shortened, and early enables the two-way simultaneous call in comparison with the LMS method and a learning identification method of a prior art.
