PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress line noises to be generated in a clamping circuit. SOLUTION: By making a MOS transistor switch 203 and a MOS transistor capacitor element 202 constitute a clamping device, and inputting clamping pulses 105 into arbitrary spots of a vertical OB pixel portion 705 being outside the region of a pixel effective portion 701, the voltage level of a black reference signal being common in the whole of a picture is accumulated in the capacitor element 202.
