PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a camera mount cap and a head mount cap, with which the removal of an oxide film formed on the surface of a contact is coped with. SOLUTION: A camera main body has a main-body side mount section on which a camera head having a photographic optical system and an imaging element is freely attachably/detachably mounted and which is provided with a contact for electrically connecting to the camera head. Also, the camera main body receives and processes an image signal from the camera head. The camera mount cap is freely attachably/detachably attached to the camera main body side mount section and protects the contact and the inside of the camera main body.
