PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the contamination of a fingerprint authentication part attached to a portable electronic apparatus to avoid the read error. SOLUTION: The electronic apparatus has two cases turnable to mutual lay one above the other, a joint for joining the two cases turnably around a parallel axis line to the laying direction of the two cases, and a fingerprint authentication part provided on the surface of one of the two cases at a position where it is covered with the other case at least in one state of the two cases laid one above the other and another state of the two cases relatively turning 180°from the mutually laid state, or exposed in other specified states.
