PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information processor capable of meeting user's fine contents storing request, and a contents recording method. SOLUTION: When a user interface 1c receives contents extraction conditions indicating the occupation ratio of contents having specific characteristics in a plurality of contents stored in a memory card 4, a contents transfer instruction part 1d3 stores the received contents extraction conditions in a contents transfer condition information recording part 1d1. The contents transfer instruction part 1d3 extracts contents from a memory 2a to match the contents extraction conditions, and makes a memory card connection part 1a to record the extracted contents in the memory card 4.
