PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simultaneously conduct release actuation for disconnecting a drive unit from a driven body to all the leaf springs when the load torque of driving force exceeds prescribed values. SOLUTION: In this power transmission device, the driven body 10 and the drive unit 4 to drive the driven body 10 are connected for transmitting driving force, and when the load torque to the driven body 10 exceeds the prescribed value, transmission of the driving force is disconnected. The leaf spring 12 is detachably engaged with the drive unit 4 at one end 12b, and connected to the driven body 10 by a fastening pin 13 penetrating to the driven body 10 at the other end 12c. When the load torque exceeds the prescribed value, engagement of one end 12b of the leaf spring 12 with the drive unit 4 is released. At a tightening part of the leaf spring 12 to the driven body 10, a tightening force regulating means 50 is provided to keep tightening force constant. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
