PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a torque converter with a lock-up clutch capable of restraining change of oil pressure for an enclosed space at a lock-up chamber side of a lock-up piston. SOLUTION: In the torque converter 10 with a lock-up clutch having a lock-up clutch 70 transmitting power by suitably engaging with a pump impeller 40 and a turbine runner, the torque converter 10 comprises a passage (an oil hole 53a) in which working oil led from a converter chamber 81 to a lock-up chamber 82 is circulated and is guided to an oil outlet passage 123 without passing through a connecting portion of the lock-up clutch, and a valve 56 which is arranged in the middle of the passage and is capable of adjusting a flow rate of the working oil.
