PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a thumb-turn whose indication member for indicating the locked/unlocked state is easily replaceable, and to improve the visibility and freedom of color selection. SOLUTION: The thumb-turn 100 comprises a thumb-turn shaft 3 in which one end thereof is connected to a lock box and the other end projects perpendicularly from a surface of an opening/closing body in a manner that the thumb-turn shaft 3 is made to be rotatable, a knob member 7 fixed to the latter-mentioned end of the thumb-turn shaft 3, a substantially C-letter shaped housing section 11 which is formed in an outer periphery of the knob member 7 and includes a pair of side face channels 17 to go along a shaft line of the thumb-turn shaft 3 on both sides 13 of the knob member 7 and a joining groove 19 for joining the pair of side face channels 17, a substantially C-letter shaped indication member 25 which has a spring property, is detachably fitted to the housing section 11 and is colored with the color different from that of the knob member 7, and an engaging means 31 formed on the knob member 7 and the indication member 25 to elastically engage the indication member 25 with the knob member 7.
