PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control unit with the automatic diagnostic function applied to a siphon type emergency water shut off system. SOLUTION: For attaining the purpose, in this invention, in addition to the ordinary function of the control unit, the control function for automatically inspecting various elements of a system constitution and also the function for transferring an inspection result to a central monitoring terminal, are added by operating a siphon type impervious system by using the timing of full water of one time in a day without causing water cutoff of a pipe even if a siphon of a siphon pipe is broken. When abnormality is caused by making an automatic inspection at a time interval of about one day to a backup power source, an earthquake sensor and a motor-driven valve in ordinary operation of a water distribution pond as indicated in the figure, since its communication comes, quick coping can be performed. This invention is applied to the siphon type emergency impervious system, to enable maintenance free of the system while expecting enhancement of reliability of the system.
