PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet treating device equipped with an enhanced treating ability for sheets of paper etc. by setting the takeout intervals according to the length in the transporting direction of the sheets of paper etc. SOLUTION: When the allocating information (cassette assignment) for stacking cassettes on which the sheets of paper etc. P to be treated are stacked, is set by an operator from the operation part of a main control part 500, a controller 85 acquires the set information, starts a sheet takeout device 200, and rotates a takeout roller 30, a reverse rotation roller 31, and a drive roller 34 and takes them out. When taking-out of the first sheet is ended, setting is made on a takeout interval timer for taking out the next sheet.
