ICT-adapter (in-circuit test) for testing computer mother boards in which instead of testing needles a UV light radiator is used which ionizes the air in the adapter in the form of fine, current conducting ion channels up to the board measuring points, whereby the UV light beam is subjected to a voltage from electrodes or reflectors (sic) and makes possible contact-free current transfer from the signal transmitter in the adapter to the board under test.
