<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To establish a simple means of providing a material for a lithium-ion secondary battery anode containing as little impurities as possible affecting battery characteristics and excellent in composition stability performing excellent battery characteristics. <P>SOLUTION: In pouring aqueous solution of chloride of Ni, Mn, or Co, or mixture solution of that and aqueous solution of chloride of Mg, Al, Ti, Cr, Fe, Cu or Zr in slurry of lithium carbonate, a slurry volume (w) of the lithium carbonate is determined by a formula of 'w (mol)=total metal component (mol)×(1+0.5x)' (where, x=an Li volume necessary for a battery anode material/total metal component), whereby carbonate containing Li is deposited, and the carbonate thus obtained is cleaned by saturated lithium carbonate solution or ethanol. The anode material precursor thus obtained with a mol ratio of Li volume to the total metal of 0.5 to 1.3 is turned to an anode material (an active material) with a simple method for performing high temperature oxidation treatment as it is. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
