<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information processing system for providing a user with information more matched with his or her tastes since the information selection of merchandise matched with the tastes of the user is insufficient in the conventional recommendation system. <P>SOLUTION: This information processor is provided with: a knowledge source information storing part for storing two or more pieces of knowledge source information having two or more pieces of subjective information being the set of merchandise identifiers and two or more attribute values being positive or negative values for two or more attributes of merchandise or the like; a significance information storage part for storing significance information showing significance for the attributes; a certainty factor information storing part for storing certainty factor information being information showing reliability for the subjective information; integral evaluation value calculating part for calculating the integral evaluation value of each piece of merchandise on the basis of the two or more pieces of knowledge source information, the significance information and the certainty factor information when instruction information being the retrieval instruction of the merchandise is accepted; and an output part for outputting one or more pieces of merchandise information on the basis of the integral evaluation value calculated by the integral evaluation value calculating part.
