<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polarizer plate which uses a thin polarizing film but can avoid leakage of visible light in short and long wavelengths at crossed Nichol and has an even neutral surface color and is excellent in durability and not reflecting outer light, and to provide its manufacturing method and an image display of high durability and high quality using such a polarizer. <P>SOLUTION: This is a polarizer plate which has transparent protective films on both sides of its polarizing film, and one of these films is sequentially coated with at least one high refractive index layer and at least one low refractive index layer to make it a multilayered anti-reflection film.
