<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a sudden acceleration occurring at the point when a vehicle speed is transferred from a state not reaching a target vehicle speed to a state of being released from the load by the application of a large load from occurring, and to reduce a shock by the sudden acceleration, or to remove the sense of incongruity in the operating feeling. <P>SOLUTION: A controller 30 finishes a first control and makes the control transfer to a second control when a period of time while a variance between a target vehicle speed Vp and an actual vehicle speed vr becomes a specified level (threshold value)ΔVth or higher is a specified period of time (threshold value) T1 or longer (at the point when the period of time has reached the specified period of time T1).
