PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas compression equipment capable of obtaining sufficient compression performance with a simple construction, and capable of being used conveniently for internal cooling equipment of several kinds, which is confined in space. SOLUTION: An excitation plate 1 demarcates a planar sealing space 10 having an approximately definite gap in the thickness direction and communicating externally by an ingoing communicating hole 11 and an outgoing communicating hole 12. An excitation means 2 provided with a vibrating piece 20 coming in contact with a surface is arranged in one side of the excitation plate 1, and a damping means 3 provided with a damping piece 30 coming in contact with a surface arranged in the other side to add the vibration to the excitation plate 1 via the vibrating piece 20 by the motion of the excitating means 2. The progressive wave generated thereby is damped by the damping means 3 via the damping piece 30 brought in contact with the downstream side in the progressive direction to compress the gas introduced from the ingoing communicating hole 11 into the sealing space 10, and emit through the outgoing communicating hole 12 externally.
