PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a metal detector capable of widening the detection range and shortening the time for detection without reducing the detection accuracy. SOLUTION: A detector part 2 of the metal detector 1 is composed of a plurality antenna combinational bodies 7 which are constituted of the transmission antenna coils 5 for generating magnetic fields around the peripheries, and the receiving antenna coils 6 for acquiring the generated secondary magnetic fields.
