PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve miniaturization through making a frame smaller without causing problems of short circuits between wirings and lowering of reliability or the like. SOLUTION: An electrooptical device is s liquid crystal device 1 having a second electrode 11 arranged so as to oppose a first electrode 10 and a liquid arranged between the first electrode 10 and the second electrode 11. Further, the liquid crystal device 1 has a first substrate 2 on which forms the first electrode 10 is formed and a wiring 14 which is formed on the substrate 2 and is connected to the second electrode11 in a conductive position 4a. The wiring 14 is routed at the inner side of the conductive position 4a, so that a frame region at the outer side of a sealing member 4 can be decreased. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
