PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrooptical device which is low-cost and space-saving and can prevent noise due to resonance between vibrations of a sounding body and a liquid crystal panel etc., and electronic equipment using the electrooptical device. SOLUTION: The electrooptical device is equipped with a frame body 6 which is partially made into a spring part 44 and presses a liquid crystal panel 2 against an abutting part side, e.g. an inner frame recessed part 40 by using its elastic deformation to suppress play of the liquid crystal display device etc., with the sounding body due vibrations from the sounding body 3, so variance among components such as the liquid crystal panel 2 etc., due to variance in component tolerance can be absorbed by the elastic deformation to prevent noise from being generated owing to resonance of vibrations from the sounding body 3. A new member is not provided separately from the frame body 6, but a portion of the frame body itself is made elastically deformanble as a spring structure to prevent the noise due to the resonance without increasing the number of components.
